Convert a gemstone weight

1. Enter the weight
2. Confirm the ratti size

There is no single ratti weight used by every seller. Check before comparing prices.

Why do I need a ratti convention?

A carat always equals 0.2 gram, but ratti conventions vary. Ask the seller how many grams they mean by one ratti. This converter does not change the shop’s weights or prices and does not assess a stone’s quality.

Methods, privacy and limitations

Inputs stay on your device. A city is remembered only if you choose. Calendar and naming traditions vary; detailed methods and limits are published separately.
